01 — The Challenge
Journaling apps almost all fail at the same point. People start, miss a few days, and never return. The problem is rarely a missing feature — it is that a blank page asks too much on a hard day, and nothing in the app shows you that the effort has been accumulating into anything worth keeping.
02 — The Solution
The interface was designed for calm rather than utility: a muted green palette, generous spacing, and a welcome panel that explains the app inside the app instead of behind an onboarding tour. Guided prompts stand in for the blank page. A visual timeline plots entries over time, so an emotional pattern becomes something a person can look at rather than something they have to remember. Entries stay private. The launch ran as an email campaign aimed at beta testers, laying out the journaling benefits and the download path in one scrollable message.
