Problem
Finding a free image is easy. Knowing whether you are allowed to ship it is not — and that is the part that actually costs a designer their afternoon.
Idea
Search Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay and Openverse at once, and put the licence next to the result instead of three clicks away on someone else’s site.
Solution
Photos and video across all four libraries, each with its licence stated up front — then the things you do next: pull a palette out of an image, get a font pairing, generate a background, crop and edit without leaving the tab.
In Figma
The same search, published as a Figma Community plugin — photos, video and icons, one click onto the canvas, sized and centred. Icons arrive as real editable vectors, not flattened images, so they can still be recoloured and resized like anything else you drew.
Tech
React and Next.js — product, design, and engineering, end to end.
Impact
Organic-search-led from day one. Zero paid acquisition. Built and shipped solo, alongside a full-time role.

Why I Build

Not a resume. The story of why I keep building, how I think, and what I actually care about once someone hands me their product.

I'm a Zoho CRM consultant and full-stack developer by day, and the solo creator of PikFinder the rest of the time. I didn't plan either one. I just kept noticing why a workflow was slow, or why a site felt clunky on a phone, and kept wanting to fix that — until fixing it turned into a career.

Most of what lands on my desk starts as someone else's mess: a CRM held together with spreadsheets, a website nobody trusts on mobile, a process quietly eating ten hours a week nobody has to spare. I'd rather ship the working version today and refine it tomorrow than spend a month polishing something nobody's touched yet.

Automation only counts if it gives someone their time back. A CRM build isn't done when it goes live — it's done when the team stops thinking about it. That's the bar I hold client work to, and the same bar PikFinder has to clear for me.

I enjoy the small tools as much as the big builds — the kind you didn't know you needed until it saves you twenty minutes. That's most of why PikFinder and the Developer Lab exist. I think in systems: what feeds what, what breaks first, what a business will actually still be using six months from now.

How I got here

Started with the fundamentals

Studying software engineering at Lovely Professional University — analytical thinking, and the first lines of real code.

Shipped first real client work

Joined Annex Infotech as a Zoho CRM Consultant & Full-Stack Developer — CRM implementations and production websites, for real businesses.

Went deep on Zoho CRM automation

15+ end-to-end CRM builds — custom modules, Deluge scripting, Canvas views, workflows that actually get used.

Started taking on my own clients

Freelance web design, development, and Zoho CRM/Creator work, direct — alongside the role at Annex Infotech.
